Hole In The Wall Invitational
Hole in the Wall is a big Invite, with 140 teams registered so far.
This course is very fast when the weather is good. The varsity races have been
moved to earlier in the day this year to get a better chance for good
weather, and fast times for the fast races! The registration process for
this race has changed, so these are the listed times, and how entries will
work to the best of our knowledge as of now. Based on our current understanding
of the registration, the top half of the team will be sectioned into groups
of 7 to race other similar groups of 7 that may or may not be other schools'
varsity teams. Highlights from last year were PR after PR in the cool weather
in the morning for the JV races, our Varsity Boys having a great day,
finishing third in the Gold (2nd fastest) race ahead of many teams we thought
were far faster than them, and Anna and Becca finishing
second and fifth in a field that included 4 NXN qualifiers and 7 girls ranked
in the top 50 in the Nation, leading the girls to a sixth place finish.
Also, There are Pancakes.
